Full Body Portrait

Black acrylic on Stonehenge paper. 44" X 30"

Goal was to practice be able to fit my entire body onto this paper. Imposed myself in a snowy mountainous background. My left hand raises a fan while my right points downwards, bridging the gap of the two worlds. Trained to analyze shadows on the body/clothing. Had difficulties working life-sized as this was larger than what I've been comfortable with. Also had trouble with fully utilizing foreshortening. Would liked to have approached this project differently.
